Request Account Deletion
At Odbo, your privacy and control over your personal data are our top priorities. If you decide to move on from our app, we've made it straightforward for you to have your account and all associated data deleted directly within the app. Here’s how you can initiate the process:
Steps to Request Account Deletion Within the App:
  1. Open the App: Start by opening Odbo on your device.
  2. Navigate to Settings: Tap on the 'Settings' icon/menu. This is usually found in the upper right corner or within the app's main menu.
  3. Select 'Account Settings': Within the Settings menu, find and select 'Account Settings' or a similarly titled option.
  4. Request Deletion: Look for the 'Delete Account' option. Here, you'll find a brief description of what data will be deleted. Tap on 'Request Account Deletion' to proceed.
  5. Confirm Your Request: You may be asked to confirm your identity or to confirm your deletion request. This is a security step to ensure that it's really you requesting the deletion.
What Happens After You Request Deletion?
Upon requesting account deletion, here’s what to expect:
  • Immediate Acknowledgment: The app will confirm receipt of your deletion request right away.
  • Deletion Timeline: Your account and all associated data will be deleted within 1 day from the request.
  • Email Confirmation: Additionally, we'll send a confirmation email to the address associated with your account, confirming that the deletion process has begun.
Data Deletion Details:
The deletion of your account will permanently remove:
  • Your profile and login information
  • Your activity and usage data
  • Any personal data stored in our app
Please note, for legal or regulatory reasons, we may need to retain certain types of data for a predefined period.
